Bodrum and Nearby Aquarium Bay

Our 1 Week Blue Cruise from Bodrum with Gulet Mehmet Bugra: Day 1

Occassionally we are invited to join a week long blue cruise with or without clients during the season. On this one particular week in August, we joined a gulet trip with our clients which started from Bodrum and ended in Fethiye.  The weather was perfect as was all the experiences along the way. And after thousands of photos and some videos we at Mirya Blue Cruise have decided to share our experience on board the beautiful and broad gulet K. Mehmet Bugra.  There was a total of 7 passengers plus our crew of 6. We each had our own cabin separate from the crew’s which was below deck. Having a cabin to ourselves was great!  A 5 star experience!  Here’s how our itinerary started on the first day.

Day 1 – We embarked at around 3 pm and anxious to take a refreshing dive into the warm waters of the Aegean sea. The gulet was all ready, harbor paperwork done and all of us had chosen our cabins, settled in and off we sent course to our first destination. We reached the outskirts of Bodrum in less than an hour, just past Aquarium bay in time for the incredible sunset and first blue cruise dinner.  We had a fish barbeque, fresh salads and appetizers, followed by a Turkish baklava desert baked on board – so fresh, and Turkish coffee! Then later went to the forward deck to watch the clear night sky trying to figure out the stars. 🙂
